It’s going to be quite busy this year in the MENA region! In line with our objective to help develop the regional ecosystem, we are pleased to announce that we’re opening the applications for the third batch of our annual 500 Startups MENA Dojo Series A Program, in partnership with Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP).

The MENA Dojo Series A Program is for startups that have reached a certain level of scale and are likely to raise a Series A in the next six to nine months. We will be bringing in a roster of mentors from our Silicon Valley and global team focused on instilling a growth mindset, growth hacking and marketing techniques. The program is one-to-one mentorship driven, which means that in addition to foundational lectures and workshops, each startup will have meaningfully unique advice and support. These tools, although well developed and regarded in Silicon Valley, provide a significant advantage to startups in the region, with several startups in past batches managing to triple their key metrics from the learnings. Several startups from the previous batches have gone on to raise large later stage rounds, including Souqalmal, Eatapp, Eventtus, Justmop, Eyewa, Nawah Scientific and more.

We’re pleased to continue our partnership with QSTP, who have been instrumental in supporting our initiative to bring these mentors and the Silicon Valley mindset to the region. Startups that have been accepted into the program will receive $150,000 in investment for 5% equity, and will pay a $15,000 tuition fee.

The deadline to apply is 28th February and the program will commence on the 31st of March.
